Do most people understand Web 2.0 social network talk?
An LA Times blog piece, puts together a modern day Internet, Web 2.0 social marketing sentence.
“Obama’s campaign put together the most plugged-in presidential run of any candidate in history. He Twittered his heart out; he was LinkedIn; it was Eventful. And then election day rolled around, and the flame began to Flickr.”
The question is how many people understand this sentence?

Those that use social media will understand it. those that don’t will not. And those percentages will constantly shift over time.
I’m more interested in why they stopped using these tools. Was it just a campaign tactic and now it’s not needed and not valued anymore? Is he bing hindered for security reasons (ala Blackberry)? That seems to me to be question that come from the statement.
